He’s garnered attention for dropping more than three stone – but Simon Cowell’s figure is also slimming with a medical corset.
Sources confirm the TV personality is wearing a surgical back brace to aid in her recovery after she was nearly paralyzed in a bicycle accident in 2020.
The outline of the braces can be clearly seen in pictures of Cowell taken in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Cowell was seen coming to filming a new series of America’s Got Talent, a format he owns and serves as a judge on.
Sources say he’s also currently suffering from laryngitis and “has lost his voice completely,” resulting in a chaotic first three days of filming.

“He was filming for AGT and had to write notes for (co-judge) Sofia Vergara to read. Of course she changes them occasionally!’
The source added: “Yesterday after three days of writing notes they finally gave him an iPad with a bunch of his own pre-programmed lines which he kind of loved because he could interrupt the other judges and press repeat.
“Occasionally he would hit the wrong keys — especially if he accidentally hit ‘I want to kiss you’.”
The source said Sofia “has called herself his ‘translator’ and suggested he double her money for the extra work,” adding, “Thankfully the candidates are often great and he doesn’t have to speak when it’s a buzzer anyway.” is (a No choice).
“He’s on the mend, we hope, and they assume he’ll at least be able to whisper as long as he stays perfectly still for a few more days.”

“It was just cake. So he sent me a list of things I can’t eat, including red meat, dairy, sugar, and gluten. And I pretty much followed it.’
Simon revealed that when he goes out for dinner now, he rarely orders anything as he insists he’s not a big eater.
The record executive even admitted to eating beans on toast before going out at night because he can’t stand the food.
