After Paul overheard his wife poking fun at his manhood during the breakup of their marriage, and just as he was getting back on the dating scene to meet someone, Paul experienced a crisis of confidence.
The 39-year-old from Texas had toyed with the idea of penis enlargement surgery but was put off by its irreversibility. Then he came across “penis filler” procedures, which, like lip fillers, promise to be completely reversible because they involve the injection of a soluble gel.
33-year-old Texan Jordan Tunnell was equally excited after hearing someone talk about the procedure at a friends gathering – he had been unsure about his penis size for years after comparing himself to his high school peers.
He told DailyMail.com: “I saw all the other guys in the football dressing room and what they were packing compared to what I was packing and I knew I wasn’t up to par with the other guys.”
However, while dermal fillers are commonly used in the facial area, there is limited evidence for its use in increasing penis girth.
Last month, a German man died of sepsis after silicone oil from a penis enlargement vaccine leaked into his bloodstream.
Jordan Tunnell was insecure about his penis size for years after comparing himself to his classmates in high school. He said the procedure made his confidence “through the roof”.
During the 30-minute PhalloFILL treatment, patients are numbed with injections of local anesthetic, and then dermal filler is injected under the top layer of skin on the penis
This comes amid the growing trend of men undergoing cosmetic surgeries including BBLs, lipo and abdominal implants.
Dallas based cosmetic clinic PhalloFILL is one of the leading companies when it comes to penis filler treatments.
The procedure uses hyaluronic acid — a substance found naturally in our skin that has been used for years to enhance women’s plump lips — to plump the girth of the penis.
The filler is FDA approved for use in the lips but not the penis, but is used by off-approval providers.
During the 30-minute treatment, patients are numbed with injections of local anesthetic, and then dermal filler is injected under the top layer of skin on the penis. Bruising and swelling typically occur immediately after the procedure.
The company’s CEO, William Moore, 49, recommends men gain 0.5 to 1.5 inches more to achieve a “natural” look, which usually requires four sessions and can take months, if not years, before it’s done dissolves.
Mr. Moore’s patients typically spend between $6,000 and $12,000. The average number of syringes, 20, costs $9,500.
A penis enlargement surgery, on the other hand, costs between $10,000 and $30,000.
The surgery can be performed in a number of ways, but the most common is cutting the ankle strap that attaches the penis to the pubic bone.
The actual penis is not changed by this, but it does make it appear longer because more of it is hanging down.
One benefit of penis fillers is that they can be reversed with a dissolving injection.
However, there is limited official research on penis fillers and the risks involved. If the filler is injected into or around an artery, it can cause tissue death.
And in the first week after augmentation injections, there is also a risk of filler migration, where the filler moves away from the original injection site, resulting in an irregular shape or feel.
If the filler is not applied properly, it can harden and leave permanent deformities, or infection at the injection sites.
PhalloFILL opened its first clinic in Dallas in 2021 and performed 800 treatments in its first year.
With 13 locations across the US, providers have already performed over 900 treatments this year and expect to have more than 2,500 treatments by the end of 2023.
In May 2022, Paul, who only wanted to give his first name, came across an anti-aging clinic in Texas that offered penis fillers. He had to pay a $2,500 deposit for an initial consultation.
He told DailyMail.com: “I didn’t know anything about the proceedings other than what was published online … but I really wanted to.”
“I shouldn’t have done that [paid the money]”But it’s one of those things, it’s just an emotional thing for people who are like, ‘If you have that spark of hope, if it cost me $2,500 to get something that could potentially be good, I would be.’ willing to risk the money.”
Paul paid the deposit and went to the clinic. He had hoped for a natural girth increase that “nobody would ever say was there,” but instead ended up with a “big, squishy, lumpy disaster.”
“Basically, it looked like I had a pencil on both sides [of my penis], where they had just inserted this big, long, straight tube of stuffing. “It was so obvious and looked unnatural,” he said.

“It made me very depressed. I thought: What have I done? “I ruined something I shouldn’t have messed with.”
After more Google searches, he found PhalloFILL, which could fix Paul’s messed up penis.
He said, ‘Immediately my mindset, my mood and my whole attitude changed.’ It was day and night.’
He added, “It’s made a huge difference in my sex life … I have a girlfriend now who is very, very, very happy with it.”
“There’s been a few different women I’ve been with and the feedback has all been great.” Not solicited feedback, but unsolicited…they have no idea [my penis is enhanced].’
Mr. William Moore, CEO of PhalloFILL, suggests that patients get an additional 1-1.5 inches in circumference to maintain a “natural” look
Mr. Tunnell, a civil engineer from Dallas, said, “It’s something that’s bothered me since I was about 13 years old and played high school football and saw the other guys who had a lot more talent than me.” comes to mind from a young age and accompanies you into adulthood…
“There’s always something on the back of your mind when you start getting intimate with someone and you start to stress and fear it. ‘You hope you can please your partner.’
“I’ve had a few encounters where it seemed like my partner was unhappy,” he added.
He had tried a penis pump, but it didn’t work.
Making his penis bigger is “something I’ve always wanted to do,” he said. “I honestly never thought this technology would be available in my lifetime.”
Two years ago, he overheard Mr Moore discussing the procedure at a friend’s house.
“I was bursting with excitement,” he said. He performed the procedure in autumn 2021.
Mr Tunnell said: “I was hoping for a rain shower – I’m shrinking a lot.” The procedure didn’t allow me to shrink, which is a big plus for me. My sensitivity actually increased, which was a big plus for me too. My confidence went through the roof. I had no problems with romantic partners. They are all very happy.’
Mr Tunnell only told a friend about it before the procedure, but since having it done he has shared a lot more and even convinced some to have it done themselves.
He also speaks openly to his partners about his enlarged penis. “They were shocked because they couldn’t say it,” he said.
Mr. Moore, who has performed over 2,000 procedures on patients, cites the company’s unique injection technique and aftercare as the reason for its success.
Mr. Moore is originally from Alabama but now lives in Dallas, Texas and has also had a penis filler done himself.
“I’ve always felt like I wanted a bigger penis,” he said.
Mr Moore has had other surgeries on his penis in the past, including fat grafting and ligament suspension surgery, which he said were “unsuccessful”.
The reasons for people wanting a penis filler are different. Mr Moore said a fair number of men get it because their wives have had multiple children, which “makes sex different for men and women”.
Then there are men who have always felt like they have a small penis.
Mr Moore said: “If you wake up in the morning and look in the mirror and the first thing you see is a small penis, you start the day badly.”
He added, “There were people who told us they got promoted.” Someone told me he’d started a new company — he told me it was an attitude toward big cocks. He said men with larger penises are more confident and get more things done. “Now that I have a bigger penis, I’m more productive.”
Mr. Moore had celebrity clients and even once a mother called to inquire about her husband and son.
