Glowing light (medium)
Sydney Grace Luminous Light (Medium) Face Palette ($28.00 for 0.88 ounces) contains a highlighter, a bronzer, and two blushes (one matte, one more shimmery). All four shades were pigmented, blendable, and long-lasting, although the bronzer wasn’t quite as blendable as the blushes/highlighters! I was pleasantly surprised that the highlighter shimmered, but didn’t tend to emphasize my skin texture as it was quite metallic when swatched.

formula overview
$9.00/0.25oz. – $36.00 per ounce
The highlighters are said to be “smooth and pigmented,” “blend like a dream,” and “last all day.” The majority of the shades in the range are incredibly pigmented and have a creamy texture that makes them a breeze to apply and blend onto my skin.
What struck me most was how soft, almost creamy the powders were, but they weren’t too loosely pressed and didn’t tend to powder. Some of the finishes are very metallic or matte so when worn semi-opaque or with higher coverage they can slightly accentuate the natural texture of my skin. They wore me between eight and nine hours.

formula overview

It’s a more pigmented blush, so it’s preferred by those who need or want richer coverage achieved with less product or in one coat, but those who prefer a more sheer, more buildable blush may find that it’s one there is a learning curve. The formula was very blendable and easy to work with, so I think it’s more forgiving, especially shades with some shimmer in them. The matte shades can be slightly powdery but don’t look dry or dusty when applied, although they can darken a little if not applied to drier or matte skin (or a base). They wore me between eight and ten hours before noticeably fading.
